Phyllis Herring Fair

Obituary Date: Friday, September 26, 2014
Phyllis Herring Fair of Cumming, Ga. passed away at home on September 26, 2014. She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, Royce D. Fair, her parents; Luke Herring and Rubye Crow Herring, and sisters; Jean Parker and Barbara Broome.

Phyllis was born in Buford, GA and grew up in the Kirkwood section of Atlanta. She attended Kirkwood Elementary School and graduated from Girls High School.

After retirement, Phyllis and Royce moved to Cumming. They were charter members of North Lanier Baptist Church. Phyllis was a member of the 4Him Bible Study Class.

Phyllis is survived by her sisters; Doris (Dot) Parker of Cumming and Louise Simmons of Eatonton, brothers-in-law; Leonard Fair of Atlanta, Jack Parker of Phoenix, AZ, and Don Broome of Snellville, and nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Monday September 29th from 1:00 pm till 5:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. The funeral will be held at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday September 30th at 10:00 am with Dr. Dan Parker officiating. Interment to follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, 1390 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming, Ga. Nephews and a niece will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are members of the 4Him Bible Study class.
