Mrs. Dorothy Knox Boone, age 67, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014. She is survived by her children, Detra Dawson, Lawrenceville, GA, and Chae Collins, New Haven, CT; three grandchildren, Davette Joyner, Lenasia Smalls, and Chae Collins, Jr.; sisters, Mary Johnson and Dorothy Olivia Hall, both of New Haven, CT; brothers, Joseph Knox, Jr., Rocky Hill, CT, Raymond Knox and George Knox, both of New Haven, CT; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at a later date in New Haven, CT.
