Marion A Schoeck

Marion A Schoeck, age 90, daughter of Katherine and Harry Hertzel of Rutherford NJ passed away on Sept. 25th 2014. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, her parents and a sister. Marion has now joined her two loving sons who passed far too soon.

Marion is survived by her daughter, Carol and her favorite daughter in law, Patty. She has three surviving sisters in California, Virginia, and New Jersey. Marion left behind five much loved grandchildren, two in Georgia, one in Pennsylvania, one in Massachusetts, and one in North Carolina. Marion is also survived by one great grandchild in North Carolina.

Marion spent many years in the nursing profession after graduating from Mountainside School of Nursing in New Jersey. She was a life long member of the ELCA Lutheran church, where she participated in many adventures. She left many dear friends there and will be missed.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 7, at Christ the King Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, Marion had asked us to pass along her desire that memorial gifts be sent to Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1125 Bettis Tribble Gap Rd, Cumming GA, 30040 for the benefit of the Chancel Choir.
