John E. 'Johnny' Fritchey

Funeral services for John E. "Johnny" Fritchey, age 82, of Clarkesville, will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday,September 27, 2014 from the Harvest Christian Church. Rev. Rick Cox will officiate with interment to follow the service in Harvest Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday,September 26, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

Mr. Fritchey died Monday, September 22, 2014 at his residence.

Born in West Palm Beach, Florida on December 1, 1931, Mr. Fritchey was the son of the late George and Jewel Brodie Fritchey. Mr. Fritchey was a farmer and served in the United States Air Force in Korea. Mr. Fritchey was a member of Harvest Christian Church. Inaddition to his parents, Mr. Fritchey is preceded in death by his wife Gladys Joye Freeman Fritchey.

Survivors include his wife Janice Fritchey of Clarkesville; daughter and son in law Darlene and Jody Joyner of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Gaynele and John Freeburn of Flowery Branch, daughter and son in law Kerrie and Ronnie Dockery of Cleveland; son and daughter in law John and Nancy Ruth Fritchey of Cleveland, son and daughter in law Calvin and Becky Fritchey of Pembroke Pines, Florida; brother Julian Fritchey of Hollywood, Florida; sister Wanda Sullivan of Milton, Florida; 15 grandchildren and 15 great children.
