Mr. Armand R. (Fred) Fredette, age 84, of Duluth, GA, formerly of Tallahassee, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Michiko Fredette, Duluth, GA; daughters, Mary F. DeBlasio (Stephan), Flowery Branch, GA, and Catherine F. Nagle (Mike), Burke, VA; brother, Leo Fredette, Hingham, MA; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Mr. Fredette was born November 3, 1929 in Providence, RI. He was a son of the late Rodolphe and Florence Burgo Fredette. He was a retired Assistant Bureau Chief with the Florida Department of Labor, a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Tallahassee, FL, and was active in coordinating activities for retired veterans which included honor flights. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Parc at Duluth, 3315 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Duluth, GA 30096, with Deacon Mike Jones officiating.
