Maria Crane Taylor

Lillian "Maria" Crane Taylor, age 53, of Murrayville, Georgia passed away Friday, September 19, 2014.

The daughter of the late Thermon and Bobbie Jean Sosebee Crane, Maria was born in Germany and spent the past 35 years in Lumpkin County. She worked for Village Nursing Care and was a member of Bethel Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. She had many talents to include painting, cross stitching, and gardening.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ray Taylor, Murrayville, Georgia/Lumpkin County; daughter, Krystal Martin, Helen, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Randall Bales, Clermont, Georgia, Linda and Eric George, Orlando, Florida; sister, Lisa Crane, Cleveland, Georgia; grandchildren, Naomi Blanck, Faith Blanck, Dakota Halte, and Joseph Howard; aunt and uncle, Gay and Charles Usher; uncles and aunts, Hoyt and Donna Sosebee, Randy and Karen Sosebee, all of Cleveland, Georgia; niece, Alicia Walden, Orlando, Florida; nephews, Christopher Walden, Cleveland, Georgia, and Shane Kelly, Orlando, Florida. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Maria are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Bethel Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Rev. Tony Ledford and Rev. Rex Fuller will officiate.

Maria will be cremated following the service, and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 5 PM until 9 PM on Monday, September 22, 2014, and from 9 AM until time of service on Tuesday, September 23, 2014.
