Janice Louise Hutchins O'Dell

Janice Louise Hutchins O'Dell, age 74 of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Emeritus at Buford due to an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Hutchins, Reverend John Belangia and Reverend Wesley Hutchins officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 2:00-4:00pm and from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. O'Dell was born January 29, 1940 in Buford, Georgia to Carl B. Hutchins and Frances Mundy Hutchins. She was retired from Lanier Park Hospital and was a member of Redwine United Methodist Church. Mrs. O'Dell was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Medley O'Dell.

Mrs. O'Dell is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Rick Collins of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Julianna O'Dell of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cristy O'Dell of Commerce; grandson and wife, Trey and Renee Smith of Oakwood; grandson, Nicholas O'Dell of Commerce; grandson, Drew O'Dell of Gainesville; grandson, Ryan O'Dell of Gainesville; grandson, Kyle O'Dell of Gainesville; grandson, Camden O'Dell of Gainesville; granddaughter, Chasity O'Dell of Commerce; grandson, Christopher O'Dell of Commerce; grandson, Casey Collins of Gainesville; great-grandson, Aiden Smith of Oakwood; great-granddaughter, Ansley Smith of Oakwood; great-granddaughter, Alayna Collins of Gainesville; great-granddaughter, Kelsie Collins of Gainesville; sister, Joyce James of Greenville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Julianna Hutchins of Auburn, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Janice Hutchins of Gainesville; 15 nieces and nephews and 22 grand nieces and nephews.
