Mary Elaine Koukal Wofford

Mrs. Mary Elaine Koukal Wofford, age 70 of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow at Alta Vista Cemetery. Dr. Jerry Gill will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wofford was born March 5, 1944, a native of Hall County and daughter of the late Russell Koakal, Sr. and Emile (Vaughn) Koakal. She was retired from New Holland Mill. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Gainesville. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. L. "Buster" Wofford.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Kathy Wofford of Gainesville; Steve and Allysia Wofford of Gainesville; David and Cara Wofford of Dacula; brother, Russell Koukal, Jr.; grandchildren, Candice, Holly, Jennifer, Steve, III, Matthew, Wade, Nikolas and a number of great-grandchildren also survive.
