Grace Pruitt

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Ms. Grace Pruitt , age 75 of Cleveland. Ms. Pruitt passed away Monday, September 15, 2014. Grace was the only child of the late Frank and Marie Hunt Pruitt. She is survived by Carol and Charles Jackson, Amy and Marshall Anderson as well as her special "grandchildren" Dade Anderson and Daylan Anderson; Ray Hunt a host of cousins and extended family as well as her church family at Christian Hill Baptist Church , that she loved so dearly.

Grace was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church and attended Christian Hill Baptist Church for number of years. A graduate of Cleveland High School, Grace became the face of the White County Clerk of Courts Office for 32 years, she loved her job and was always professional, greeting everyone with a smile. Following her retirement, Grace continued to use her administrative skills in various positions for a number of years. Later she would enjoy her favorite pastimes which included crossword puzzles, reading and playing the piano.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00pm, Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Gateway Memory Park with Rev. Jim Ellis officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8pm
