Raymon Larry Bullock, age 66, of Commerce GA, formerly of Buford, GA and the Ivy Creek Community passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jacob Bullock, and his parents, Bee and Nancy Warbington Bullock.
He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Alice Bailey Bullock, Commerce, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Shannon and Angie Bullock, Commerce, GA, and Lee and Myken Bullock, Hoschton, GA; grandchildren, Drew Bullock, Ellie Bullock, Brooke Bullock, Seth Bullock, Joel Bullock, and Cole Bullock; brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Jan Bullock, Hoschton, GA; nephews and nieces, Mark and Jennifer Bullock, and Dawn and Brian Polk; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wayne and Gale Bailey, Dacula, GA; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Janet Bailey and Scott Perkins, Dacula, GA, and Cynthia and Darrell Coggins, Dacula, GA; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Bullock was born on February 23, 1948 in Buford, GA. He was a 1966 graduate of Dacula High School and attended Gainesville Junior College. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Lucent Technologies after thirty years of service. He was also a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford where he attended the Joy Sunday School class.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Ivy Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Dale, Rev. Chad Roebuck, and Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Ivy Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ivy Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 2500 Ivy Creek Road, Buford, GA 30519 in memory of Raymon Bullock.
