Anne Davis

Anne Davis, 82, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday September 11, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Mrs. Davis was born March 22, 1932 to the late William H. and Ina Thompson. She was a lifelong resident of Dawson County, devoted wife and mother, and member of the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville. A retired educator, she taught for eight years in the Dawson County School System and 23 years at Forsyth County High School.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, John Davis, Dawsonville; daughter, Pamela Anne Bragg, Dawsonville; son and daughter in law, Tim and Shirley Davis, Dawsonville; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday September 13, 2014 at 11 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Stephen Davis, Rev. Leonard W. Ridings, and Rev. Kenneth Allison will officiate. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 9 on Friday at the funeral home.
