Sharon Denise Hood

Ms. Sharon Denise Hood, born June 15, 1963 to Mrs. Carol Sue Hood and to the late Otha Lee Brown of Gainesville, Georgia. She departed this earth on September 6, 2014. She attended Johnson High school and also Antioch Baptist Church where she gave her life to God at an early age. Sharon was a loving person and everyone fell in love with her great personality. She was also a very humorous person whom loved to make people laugh.

Sharon had two children: Peyton Renile Hood and Victor Taveress Cantrell of Gainesville, GA, two grandchildren: Jahiem Joseph Williams and Morgan Mariah Hood. She also leaves to cherish her memories her mother Carol Sue Hood of Atlanta, GA, Grandmother: Hattie Brown of Gainesville, GA, siblings: Valerie (Norah) Borders of Gainesville, GA, Aletha Thompson (Benjamin Herring) , Vanessa Thompson, Laura Thompson, and Renae Harris all from Atlanta, GA, Gloria Berry of Winder, GA , Aunts: April Hood of Athens, GA, Ann Young of Gainesville, GA Verna Constance, Uncle: Jerry Hood of Atlanta, GA , special friend: Kerry McCray and Jane Pierce and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Antioch Baptist Church at 1pm. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 6-7pm at Antioch Baptist Church. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.
