Anthony A. Skwara

Anthony A. Skwara, 81, of Cumming, GA died on September 6, 2014 at Embracing Hospice of Cumming. Born in Chesterville, ME he was the son of the late Anthony and Agnes Skwara. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Loretta Skwara, and their son, Alan Ross Skwara.

Anthony was a loving husband, father and grandfather. A long-time resident of Peabody, MA he retired from the Boston Carpenter's Union Local #33 and lived in Brooksville, FL. He and his wife, Loretta, moved to Cumming in 2011. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Throughout his lifetime, he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.

Anthony is survived by his daughters, JoAnn (Ken) Ogilvie of Franklin, MA and Carol Ann (Blaine) Davis of Cumming, GA; sister, Sr. Mary Anastasia of Portland, ME; and much-loved grandchildren, Courtney, Joshua, and Zachary Davis.

Memorial Mass will held at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 12, 2014 at The Church of the Good Shepherd.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Anthony's memory to Embracing Hospice of Cumming, 8730 Majors Road, Cumming, GA 30041.
