Guyton McCurdy Miller

Mr. Guyton McCurdy Miller, age 83 of 550 Buena Vista Drive, Eastanollee, Georgia passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Pruitt Health Atlanta.

A son of the late Patrick E. and Eppie Adams Miller, he was born September 26, 1930 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County, Georgia. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran having received the Purple Heart. He retired from Tabor Motor Company and later retired from the Department of Family and Children's Services and was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Betty Jane Howe Miller; daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Roger Turner of Auburn, Georgia; sons and daughter-in-law, Steve Miller of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Randy and Sherry Miller of Toccoa, Georgia; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 8, 2 O'clock PM at Hopewell Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Ricky McFarlin officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Michael Carter, Brad Hanna, Bart Miller, Darrell Harper, Daniel Keener and Dustin Keener.

The family will be at the home on Buena Vista Drive and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Interment will be in the Hopewell Presbyterian Church with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Guyton McCurdy Miller. Online condolences can be made by visiting the website at www.acree-davisfh.com.
