Margie Jordan Wilson

Margie Jordan Wilson, age 75, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. B. Wilson; parents, Ben and Lillie Dunaway Jordan; sister, Wilma Nell Jordan; and brothers, Myron Jordan, Floyd Jordan, Charles Jordan, and Curtis Jordan. She is survived by sisters, Marie Jordan Carlisle, Norcross, GA and Katherine Jordan Addis, Buford, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Judy Jordan, Oakwood, GA; sisters-in-law, Ann Thrasher Jordan, Buford, GA and Judy Cofer Jordan, Sugar Hill, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Wilson was born August 24, 1939 in Buford, GA. She was a 1957 graduate of Sugar Hill School. She worked for the City of Sugar Hill and also for Winn Dixie for many years. She was a member of New Bethany Baptist Church in Buford, GA.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The eulogy will be given by Lamar Jordan. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Embracing Hospice, 8013 Majors Road, Cumming, GA 30040 in memory of Margie Wilson.
