Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday September 4, 2014 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Tommy Dorsey Anderson, age 51 of Gainesville. The Rev. Bill Hutcheson will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Anderson passed away Sunday August 31, 2014.

Mr. Anderson was born in Forsyth County and worked for Fieldale Farms Corporation. He was preceded in death by his Father, Hugh Dorsey Anderson Jr., and Sister, Vicky Anderson Morgan.

Survivors include Wife, Tabitha Anderson, Gainesville, Daughters, Stephanie Anderson, Gainesville, Promise Anderson, Gainesville, DeAnna Turpen, Lula, LaTasha West, Gainesville, Mother, Millie Carolyn Burson Anderson, Brother, Richard David Anderson, Dahlonega, Sisters, Nowona Anderson Woods, Maysville, Lisa Anderson Rider, Gillsville, Karen Patricia Anderson Prevatt, Hendersonville,NC and 8 Grandchildren.
