Inez Elizabeth Scott

Mrs. Inez Elizabeth Scott, age 70 of 85 Big Granny Drive, Toccoa passed away Saturday August 30, 2014 at her residence.

The daughter of the late Jessie and Fannie Pitts Kastner, she was born on October 1, 1943 in White County but she lived most of her life in Stephens County. She worked for Coats and Clark for a number of years then with G&W Construction as a secretary. She was member of Toccoa Creek Baptist Church and attended the Closer Walk Sunday School Class. She enjoyed reading and being with family. She is preceded in death by a brother Terrell Kastner and two sisters Janice Kastner Canady and Ola Bell Kastner Scott.

Survivors include her husband Gwyn Scott of the home, son and daughter-in-law Billy and Karan Scott of Toccoa, two grandchildren Ashley Robinson and Joshua Parker and one great-grandchild Riley Robinson, one brother Wade Kastner of Mt. Holly, N.C. and one sister Bernice Smith of Lawrenceville, G.A.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 1st at 2:00 P.M. at Toccoa Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Joey Whitlock and Reverend Vernon Dorminey. The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday August 31st from 6-8 at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve at pallbearers Guy Lowe, Edward Taylor, Dwain Chastain, Buddy Cheek, Larry Ramey and Curtis Waters.

Interment will be in the Toccoa City Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Inez Kastner Scott.
