Robin Leah Stansel Shumake

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Ms. Robin Leah Stansel Shumake, age 55 of Pendergrass, Georgia, who entered into rest Friday, August 29, 2014.

Ms. Shumake was born in Winder, Georgia a daughter of the late David Edward Stansel and Mrs. Peggy Brooks Sosebee of Talmo, Georgia. In addition to her father, Robin is preceded by a niece, Alison Stansel Mrs. Shumake was a Child Care Professional with Bright Beginnings for a number of years and was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church.

A Graveside committal service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 31, 2014 in the Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Memorial Services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Mountain Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.

Survivors include her daughters, Ashley Shumake and Katie Shumake both of Pendergrass, Georgia, grandson, Liam Shumake of Pendergrass, Mother and Step Father, Peggy and W.T. Sosebee, Talmo, Georgia, sister, Rhonda Clark, Braselton, Georgia, brothers, Ricky Stansel and Randy Stansel both of Pendergrass, Georgia, nephews, Dustin Clark, Derek Clark, Jason Stansel and Sam Stansel, niece Jessica Colley and a number of other relatives.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to Robin Shumake and Family Fund in Care of Northeast Georgia Bank, 1775 Old Pendergrass Road, Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
