Larry Dean Godfrey

Larry Dean Godfrey, age 55 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Godfrey was born September 11, 1958 in Cleveland, Tennessee to Robert Roy Godfrey and Addie Louise Roberts Godfrey. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Robert Roy Godfrey, his sister, Tresa Rose Godfrey and his brother, Roy Lee Godfrey.

Mr. Godfrey is survived by his first wife of 30 years, Sandra Godfrey of Gainesville, his second wife of 5 years, Vickie Godfrey of Gainesville, his mother, Addie Godfrey of Gainesville, his daughters, April Godfrey Ivester and Teri Godfrey Gee, both of Gainesville, grandchildren, Kaleb Godfrey, Kayleigh Godfrey and Dallas Gee, his sisters, Lois Wilson and Diane Canupp, both of Gainesville, brother, Eddie Godfrey of Gainesville.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
