Ronald Brantley Ledford

Ronald Brantley Ledford, age 70, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2014 at home surrounded by love ones.




Mr. Ledford was born on April 4, 1944 in Clarkesville, Georgia; son of the late Eirth T. and Conance Free Ledford. He was a member of Stonepile Baptist Church and was an over the road truck driver.




Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal and Jason Wheeler, Clarkesville, Heidi and Chris Burke, Clarkesville; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kelly Ledford, Demorest; sisters, Arlene Collins, Young Harris, Carolyn Sutton, Cornelia; brothers, Junior Ledford, Mt. Airy, David Ledford, Clarkesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Donna Ledford, Demorest, Leon and Cindy Ledford, Homer; grandchildren, Mercedes Weaver, Samantha Ledford, Brody Ledford, Kale Ledford, Payton Wheeler, Gavin Wheeler, Tanner McAllister, Ansley McAllister, Jazlyn Burke, Brady Burke, Lindsey Burke and Braxton Walker. As well as many nieces and nephews.




Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Stonepile Baptist Church, with Rev. Connie Berry and Mr. Stan Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.




The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
