Louise Chadwick Barrett

Mrs. Louise Chadwick Barrett, age 79, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Ida King Chadwick; and brother, Gerald Chadwick. She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Gene Barrett, Suwanee, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Bridgett Barrett, Peachtree Corners, GA; grandsons, Seth Barrett and Daniel Barrett; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean Roberts, Lilburn, GA, Sandra Smith, Homer, GA, Vicki and Don Carroll, Clarkesville, GA and Helen and Reid Caudell, Clarkesville, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Mary Lynn Chadwick, Gainesville, GA and Ken and Amy Chadwick, Dacula, GA; sister-in-law, Bernadine Chadwick, Snellville, GA, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lawrence and Juanita Barrett, Hoschton, GA, Gerald and Helen Barrett, Suwanee, GA, Cecil Barrett and Donald and Connie Harrison, Suwanee, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Barrett was born September 18, 1934 in Suwanee, GA. She was a graduate of Suwanee High School and was a retired secretary from Zeeman Manufacturing Co. She was a former member of Tucker First Baptist Church and a member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Shadowbrook Baptist Church, 4187 Suwanee Dam Road, Suwanee, GA 30024 with Pastor Bobby Linkous and Associate Pastor Rick Patchin officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Shadowbrook Baptist Church. There will be no visitation at Flanigan Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shadowbrook Baptist Church in memory of Louise Barrett.
