Lonnie Pruitt

Mr. Lonnie Pruitt, age 70, of Clermont, Ga. entered into his eternal life at home on Friday, August 22, 2014 following a brief illness.

Born in Cleveland, Ga. on January 26, 1944. He was the son of the late Robert and Lillie Pruitt. He was also preceded in death by his sister Lois Gooch.

Lonnie grew up in Cleveland and retired after 34 years of service from the GA DOT-Survey Dept. Lonnie was a Baptist Deacon, Sunday school teacher and song leader. Lonnie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had lived in Hall County for the last 18 years.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2014 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. The Rev. Ricky Stone and Rev. Shane Wehunt will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Little & Davenport Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia "Pat" Pruitt of Clermont; daughter and son in law, Kim and Greg Konorosky of Loganville; son and daughter in law, Matt and Emily Pruitt of Cleveland; grandchildren, Kristen and Jacob Overman, Hannah Pruitt, Tyler, Madison and Austin Konorosky; sisters, Mamie Owenby of Cleveland, Essie Gilstrap of Clermont, Pauline Bryan of Cleveland, Janet Barnes of Jefferson; brother, Lawrence Pruitt of Cleveland and a number of nieces and nephews.
