Troy Lee Du Bois

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Troy Lee Du Bois, 47, of Braselton, Ga. who passed away Monday August 18, 2014 after a brave fight with pancreatic cancer.

Mr. Du Bois was born in Louisville, Kentucky a son of the late Richard J. Du Bois and the late Wanda Turner Thompson. Mr. Du Bois moved to Braselton in 1998, was self employed as a flooring installer and graduated from Lanier Technical College with a degree in Computer Technology.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Du Bois was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Woody.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Abell Du Bois of Braselton, his daughter, Amanda Du Bois of Braselton, his brother, Terry Du Bois and his wife, Cindy of Walnut Grove, his step father, Bill Thompson of Lawrenceville, and his nieces, Tiffany McCraw Benson, Destiney Du Bois, and Summer Du Bois; his nephew, Steven Woody and his great nephews, Nathan Du Bois and Mason Woody, Taylor and Conner Benson, and a number of other relatives.

A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
