Bobby Edmondson

Bobby Edmondson, age 50, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Monday, August 18, 2014.

Bobby was born and raised in Hall County, and spent most of his adult life in Lumpkin County. He retired as a machinist and enjoyed woodworking. He was a wonderful husband and best friend, and the best Papa ever. Bobby loved to make people laugh, and was of the Baptist Faith.

He was the son of the late Charles and Jean Abercrombie Edmondson, and is also preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Edmondson; and sister, Lisa Truelove.

Mr. Edmondson is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary Edmondson; grandmother, Mae Edmondson, Clermont, GA; special nieces and nephews, Sherry and George Marlow, Melissa and Daniel Wayne, Chris Rogers, all of Dahlonega, GA and Colby Truelove, Clermont, GA; aunt and uncle, Nellie and Tony Bracken, Cleveland, GA; uncle, Jimmy Edmondson, Clermont, GA; extended family, Curtis and Ann Sullens, and Tim Ledford, all of Dahlonega, GA. A number of other relatives and many friends also survive.

Funeral services for Bobby are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. Ken Anderson will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Cavender Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 5 PM until 9 PM on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, and from 10 AM until time of service on Thursday, August 21, 2014.
