Beverly Fite Woodward Palmer

Beverly Fite Woodward Palmer, 88 of Dahlonega passed away Monday August 18, 2014 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness. She was of Methodist Faith and a member of Dahlonega United Methodist Church. Mrs. Palmer a member of Beta Sigma Phi and founding member of Kappa Delta Sorority at North Georgia College, and a member of Dahlonega Woman's Club. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joys of her life. She was a loving wife to Wayne, mother to her children, grandmother to all.



Mrs. Palmer is preceded in death by her late husband Dr. James Gordon Woodward and son Dr. Jeffery Gordon Woodward; sisters; Kathryn Salyer, and Alline Collier.



Mrs. Palmer is survived by husband Lawrence Wayne Palmer; her children Kathy and Steve Moore of Dahlonega; Lynn and Scott Thurman of Atlanta; brothers and sisters Burgess and Helen Fite of Aiken SC, grandchildren April and Jim Neese of Alexander City, AL, Stuart and Anna Moore of Gainesville, GA, Rachel and Brendon Todd of Atlanta, GA; great grandchildren Carter and Patrick Neese and Kate Moore.



Funeral Services will be on Thursday August 21st at 11 am at Dahlonega United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends on Wednesday August 20th from 2-4 pm and again from 6-8 at the funeral home. Rev. Gene Davis and Dr. Jeff Ross will be officiating.
