Michael A. 'Mike' Holtzclaw

Michael A. "Mike" Holtzclaw, 34, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday August 16, 2014.

Born February 2, 1980, Mike was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. He was formerly employed by Sleevco and was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Holtzclaw, and a brother, Greg Holtzclaw.

Surviving are his son, Zach Holtzclaw, Dawsonville; mother, Eva Holtzclaw, Dawsonville; sister and brother in law, Kay and Jeff Parker, Dawsonville; brother, Chad Holtzclaw and his companion, Christian Hutching, Dawsonville; nieces, Christine Parker, Natalie Parker, Ashley Parker; nephews, Keith Holtzclaw, Cody Holtzclaw, Austin Hutching, Dylan Hutching, Cameron Hutching; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 21, 2014 at 2 o'clock at Concord Baptist Church. Dr. Scott Gilbert, Rev. Stephen Davis, and Rev. Ruben Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 until 9 at the funeral home.
