Ralph Victor Loudermilk

Ralph Victor Loudermilk, 68, of Cumming, Georgia passed away Friday, August 15th, 2014 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Opal Wooten and Willis Loudermilk, his two brothers Jeffrey Oneal Wooten and Eddie Lynn Wooten and nephew William Loudermilk.



He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Helen Berry Loudermilk, his son Doug Loudermilk and his wife Carrie of Cumming, GA, daughter Lisa Loudermilk Stokes and her husband Gene Stokes of Smyrna, GA and grandchildren Jesse Loudermilk, Erin Stokes, and Ricky, Christina and William Breitenbach, his brother, Randall (Robbie) Wooten of Duluth, GA, his sister, Betty Sue Allen and husband, Dale and his nephews, Chad and Travis Decker all of Murphy, NC and sisters-in-law, Linda Sutton also of Murphy, NC, Margaret Pittman of Jacksonville, FL and Sandy Wilson of Hiram, GA



He was a lifetime member of the NRA, a Teamster and an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved camping and classic hot-rod cars. He taught all the kids in his family how to bait a hook, raft down a river, ride a horse and shoot a gun. He was described by his sister-in-law of almost 50 years as a man among men, which he was. He was also a fighter and won a battle with cancer 25 years ago. He fought this last battle with cancer on his own terms with his loving wife and surrounded by his family.



The family will have visitation at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA on Sunday August 24th, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. and a reception to follow at Pine crest Baptist Church in Cumming, GA.
