Edna Mae Sexton Dunagan

Edna Mae Sexton Dunagan, 78, of Gainesville passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 11:00 am at the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with internment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dunagan was born on September 3, 1935 in Gwinnett to the late Hershel Sexton and Viola Jones Sexton. She was retired from Wal-Mart and attended Zion Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Franklin Dunagan; brother, Leroy Sexton; special friend, Neal Landers.

Mrs. Dunagan is survived by her daughter; Melissa Jane Dossett of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Mitzi Dunagan of Cleveland; grandson and wife, Justin and Shelley Dunagan of Lula; grandsons, Sean Feagins of Cumming, Brooks Teal of Cleveland, Zachary Dossett of Cumming; granddaughter, Reagan Dunagan of Cleveland; sister, Shirley Reece Parden of Flowery Branch.
