Rosie Lee Griffin Martin

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Rosie Lee Griffin Martin, age 77, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, August 15, 2014.

Mrs. Martin was born in Lexington, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Kim and Dorothy Canup Griffin, was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin is preceded by her husband, Elmer Roy Martin, two daughters, Helen Martin and Paula Irvin, four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Faulkner and Arlene Martin of Jefferson, Wanda Jones of Statham and a son, Johnny Martin of Commerce. Eight grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 18, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Reverend Chris Segars officiating with burial to follow in Jackson Memorial Park, Commerce, Georgia. The following gentlemen will be honored as pallbearers, Alan Faulkner, Brian Ridling, Dustin Ridling, Scott Martin, Grant Henderson and Bill Brewer. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday, August 17, 2014, 6-8 P.M..
