Lanny Burton

Lanny Burton, age 75, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014. He is survived by his children, Tim and Ann Burton, Cumming, GA, Todd Burton, Sugar Hill, GA, and Tony Burton, Centerville, GA; grandchildren, Daniel Burton, Nikki Burton, Jessica Burton, and Brianna Burton; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Al LeRoy, Rock Hill, SC; brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin and Barbara Burton, Marietta, GA, and Tommy and Nancy Burton, Powder Springs, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Burton was born September 23, 1938 in Anderson, SC. He attended Anderson High School in Anderson, SC. He was a retired route salesman for Frito Lay with over thirty years of service and he was of the Presbyterian faith. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Loskoski officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
