Walter Loyal Hosch

Walter Loyal Hosch, age 89, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014, surrounded by his loving wife and children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Mozell Crowe Hosch, siblings, Willie Mae Adams and Patsy Hosch, brother-in-law, John Q. Adams, and best friend, Thurman Carlyle. He is survived by his wife of seventy-two years, Mardell Westbrooks Hosch; children, Robert and Diane Hosch, Patricia Hudlow, Michael and Lynn Hosch; grandchildren, Trace Hudlow, Jenny Hosch Bojo, Jarred Hosch, Madelyn Hosch MaCalmon, Kara Hosch Head, Caitlin Hosch Moss, and Kyler Hosch; great grandchildren, Mary Kate Bojo, Claire Bojo, Tucker Bojo, Natlie Hosch, and Peyton Head; sons-in-law, Brian Bojo, Madison MaCalmon, Will Head, and Daniel Moss; daughter-in-law, Heather Hosch; nephews, nieces and cousins, Barbara and Lyn Reynolds, Bob and Judy Adams, John and Lynda Adams, and Brenda Chambers. Mr. Hosch was born October 7, 1924 in Buford, GA. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Marines and was retired as co-owner of Buford Bridle and Halter. He was a deacon and long-time member of West Buford Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at West Buford Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Bennett and Rev. Kenneth Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Arthur Southerland officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. He was a wonderful man, greatly loved by his family and friends. A special thank you to Northeast Medical Hospice Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northeast Medical Hospice Center in memory of Loyal Hosch.
