Charles R. Johns

Mr. Charles R. Johns, age 80 of Braselton, GA, formerly of Sugar Hill, GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Marie B. Johns; special friends, Donna and Bill Brown and family, Gainesville, GA, and Ann Nalley, Gainesville, GA. Mr. Johns was born on December 6, 1933, in LaGrange, GA. He was a graduate of LaGrange High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired draftsman from Simons Eastern Company in Decatur, GA after twenty-nine years of service. He also worked for Austin Company for three years.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Chapel Mausoleum of East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens, 87 Scenic Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
