John Maurice Prater

John Maurice Prater, age 97, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Ann Prater; children, Linda Mitchell and husband Edward, Sugar Hill, GA, Jackie Payne, Chicago Heights, IL, Judy Hepburn and husband Brian, Orange Park, FL, and Jeanne Prater, Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 4633 Shiloh Road, Cumming, GA 30040 (770) 205-7969. Interment, with military honors, will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Veterans Cemetery Road, Canton, GA 30114.
