Brenda Dyer Shaw

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Brenda Dyer Shaw, 56, of Pendergrass, Georgia, who passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014.

Mrs. Shaw was born in Carrollton, Georgia a daughter of the late Bryan Taylor Dyer and Mary Juanita Simmons Brannon of Maysville, Georgia. Mrs. Shaw was a Shift Supervisor at Burger King in Pendergrass, Georgia and was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her father and her husband, James Robert Shaw.

Survivors include her daughter, April Patton of Murrayville, Georgia, step daughters, Rosie Shaw of Jefferson, Georgia and Barbara Vines of Washington, Georgia, Mother, Juanita Brannon of Maysville, Georgia, Special Friend and Adopted Daughter, Jada Hollis of Braselton, Georgia, sister, Anita Lynn Payne of Maysville, Georgia, brothers, Jimmy Dyer of Elberton, Georgia and Jerry Dyer of Commerce, Georgia, grandchildren, Chase Rooks, Addy Hollis, and Ava Hollis and a number of other relatives.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday August 13, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Mountain Creek Baptist Church, 1116 Mountain Creek Church Road, Pendergrass, Georgia 30567, with Reverend Tim Strickland and Reverend Jeff Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Jason Bruce, Jason Hollis, Todd Hollis, Chris Hayes, Ricky Hardy and Freddy Holder honored as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Mountain Creek Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday August 13, 2014.

Mrs. Shaw requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Freedom Fund, In Care Of, Mountain Creek Baptist Church P.O. Box 510 Pendergrass, Georgia 30567.
