Jerry Douglas Ashmore

Jerry Douglas Ashmore, age 55 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park North Riverside, 989 Riverside Drive, Gainesville. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. Reverend Wayne Hicks, as well as several other speakers will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 4 - 7 pm at the North Riverside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.

He was employed with construction work and was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Mr. Ashmore is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Heather & Dillon Duren of Jefferson, his parents, Reverend Pierce & Sue Ashmore of Gainesville, his granddaughters, Haley and Havolynn Duren of Jefferson and several aunts and uncles.
