Dorine Reese Aaron

Mrs. Dorine Reese Aaron, age 90 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at New Horizons Limestone Nursing Home following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:30 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Jeff Thompson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am, prior to the service, at the funeral home.


Mrs. Aaron was born February 24, 1924 in Warrenton, Georgia to the late Wyman Reese and Ocey Turner Reese. She was a nursing assistant in Warrenton, Georgia and was the Valedictorian of Camak High School. Dorine was of the Baptist Faith and was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband, Thomas Aldred and husband, Monroe Aaron.


Mrs. Aaron is survived by her sister, Dorothy Reese Musselwhite of Gainesville, nieces, Joy Reese Tillirson, Sonja Goodman, Brenda Aldridge, Elna Jones, Ginger Brackins and Ola Williams and her nephews, Harry Musselwhite, Jr., Steve Musselwhite, Robert Reese, Daniel Reese, Michael Reese, Boyd Reese, Jr., Roy Reese and Howard Reese.
