James "Jim" Summerville, age 51, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Don N. Summerville. He is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Gayle Christensen Summerville; daughter, Samantha Summerville, Flowery Branch, GA; mother, Patricia Hunter Summerville, Lilburn, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Jackie Summerville, Lavonia, GA; mother-in-law, Alvera Christensen, Lawrenceville, GA; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cheryl and John Kuntz, Tacoma, WA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Maria Christensen, Renton, WA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Summerville was born July 2, 1963 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 1981 graduate of Parkview High School and a 1999 graduate of Georgia State University with a bachelor's degree. He was employed with Speed South, LLC as an operations manager. He was a member of Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Lawrenceville, GA. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed road racing and helping with Habitat for Humanity. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Lawrenceville with Pastor Bob Mitchell officiating.
