Judith 'Judy' Gooch Rochelle

Judith "Judy" Gooch Rochelle, age 64, of Rockaway Beach NY, formally of Cleveland, went to be with our Lord on August 1, 2014. Mrs. Rochelle was born on December 24, 1947 to the late Roy and Pauline Woody "Ma" Gooch. She was a homemaker and had lived in New York for over 40 years. Judy will always be remembered for her strong Christian faith, her ability to make you laugh even when you thought is wasn't possible. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Rochelle was preceded in death by her parents as well as a brother Gary Gooch and a niece Cherie McGuire. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Bob Rochelle, Rockaway NY; sons Kenny Rochelle, and John Rochelle; granddaughter, Alexandria Rochelle. Locally she is survived by her sisters Linda McGuire, Paula Gooch Anderson, Tammy Pruitt; sister-in-law Dena Gooch; nephews and nieces, Phillip Gooch, Paulette Gray, Steven McGuire, Katrina McIntyre, Kim Dee, Jennifer Waggoner.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Frances DeSales Roman Catholic Church in New York on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers it is the request of Judy that everyone take a little more time with the ones they love to make those memories that will last forever.
