Dorothy L. Forrester

Mrs. Dorothy L. Forrester, age 88 of Lula died Sunday, August 3, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Coweta County to the late, Edward and Blanche Vera Drake. She was a homemaker and a member of Homer Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Forrester was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Dey, Jr. of Atlanta and Swayne J. Forrester of Lula.

Mrs. Forrester is survived by her daughter, Teresa Browning (Rick) of Dunwoody; son, Frank Dey (Cannie) of Buford; step-daughter, Gatha Ables (Tommy) of Norfolk, VA; step-son, Gary Forrester (Penni) of Lula; sisters, Evelyn McLendon of Smyrna and Janie Miller of Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 8 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Christian Burton officiating with the interment following at Banks Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12-2 PM.

The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to her devoted caregivers, Donna Osborne and Carol Miller and to Gentiva Hospice.
