Janis Fern Brandt Herbert

Mrs. Janis Fern Brandt Herbert, age 65 of 31 Laurel Hill Court, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Clarkesville, Georgia.

A daughter of the late James and Virginia Cambill Brandt, she was born July 9, 1949 in Lake County, Indiana where she lived most of her life and the last ten years in Toccoa. She was employed with Standard Register in Toccoa, a member of the Church of Christ and very supportive of the church's foster children.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Eric George of Brownsburg, Indiana; brother, Keith Brandt of Linton, Indiana.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 6, 11 O'clock AM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Will Mayhue officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 5 from 6 PM to 8 PM.
