Jackie Dar Justus

Jackie Dar Justus, 74, of Clayton, GA, passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Thursday, July 31, 2014.



He was born in Tiger, GA and was the son of Alfred Neal Justus and Mary Durrell Dickerson Justus. In addition to his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by two brothers, Norris Justus and Dickie Justus and one sister, Carolyn Justus.



Jackie is survived by his loving wife, Judith Ann Kitley Justus, one son, Ronnie Justus of Clayton, GA; three daughters, Sharon J. Lampros and husband Anthony of Clayton, Lorrie J. Gregoire and husband Kevin of Clayton, Tamie J. Dough and husband Bill of Clayton; two brothers, Bob Justus of Habersham and Glenn Justus of Clayton; and one sister, Virginia J. Watts of Clayton. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Ryan Lampros, Everett Lampros, Lindsey L. Ferretti, Brylee Justus, Branden Justus, Laken Gregoire, Renay Gregoire, Haley Sands, Karley Dough; and one great-grandchild, Liberty Gregoire.



He was employed for many years as a fixer at Burlington Industries and was a member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church. He was a very loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and RVing. Jackie raised cattle, and loved farming, gardening, cutting grass, and riding his tractor. He was extremely helpful to others and also tilled the gardens for all of his neighbors who needed it done.



The family will receive friends Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 2 PM to 3 PM and services will be held at 3 PM in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
