Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Helen Mclendon Winkler, age 70 of Cleveland. Mrs. Winkler passed away Monday, July 28, 2014

Helen was born in Staten Island, New York on June 2, 1944 to the late William J. Mclendon and Velma Chambers Mclendon.

Survivors include her daughter, Emily Perry, Santa Fe, NM; brothers and sisters in law, Billy Joe and Freida Mclendon, Cleveland and Jeff and Angie Mclendon of Gainesville ; nephews,Ryan Mclendon, Shawn Mclendon and William J. Mclendon V

Per her wishes, no public services will be held and memorial donations may be made to either the Charles Smithgall Humane Society, P.O.Box 2090, Cleveland, GA. 30528 or Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Gainesville, GA. 30501
