Roy Collins

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday July 28, 2014 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Roy Collins, age 79 of Clevleland.

The Rev. Lamar Purcell and Rev. Lamar Askew will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Collins passed away Friday July 25, 2014.

Mr. Colllins was born in Forsyth County and had spent most of his life in Hall County. He was the son of the late Dock Collins and Mattie Gaddis Collins. He retired from City Plumbing and Electric and was of the Methodist faith.

He was preceded in death by his first Wife Velma Collins.

Survivors include, Wife Nancy W. Collins, Cleveland, Son, Chris Collins, Commerce, Daughter, Kim Bergante, Cleveland, Daughter and Son-in-Law, Kelly and James DeLong, Gainesville, Brother and Sister-in-Law, Harold and Hazel Collins, Gainesville, Sister and Brother-in-Law, Inez and Fred Barnes, Gainesville, Brothers-in-Law and Sisters-in-Law, Herbert and Marie Woodall, Gainesville, Doug and Cindy Woodall, Mt. Airy, Christine and Johnny Sheridan, Gainesville, Grandchildren, Tyler House, Kristin House, Casey DeLong, Carly DeLong, Nathan Collins, Great Grandchildren, Tucker Parris, Levi House and Taylor Parris.
