Larry William Thompson

Larry William Thompson, 67, of Cumming, GA died on July 24, 2014 at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late Perry and Edna Thompson.

Larry served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from K-Mart where he was the manager of the auto service department.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine Thompson of Cumming, GA; sons, Rev. Richard (Jill) Thompson of Brazil and Sean (Crystal) Thompson of Ft. Worth, TX; sister-in-law, Diane Wolcott of Cumming, GA; much-loved grandchildren, Miranda, Drew and Emma Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Peachtree Court Clubhouse on Diplomat Drive in Cumming, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions (www.imb.org).
