Michael Scordino

Michael Scordino, age 69, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Salvatore Scordino and Rose Scordino; and brother Anthony Scordino. He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Missy Scordino; children Michael, Jr. and Jolie Scordino, Jeffrey Scordino, Amber and Martin Lai Tyam, and Nicholas and Julie D'Amico; seven grandchildren Lynae, Luciano, Emma Rose, Liana, Sargent, Alifair, and Violet; brother Salvatore Scordino, Jr.; sisters Nancy Mingoia, Rose Albano and Camille Agulair. Mr. Scordino was a disabled veteran of the United States Air Force. He graduated in 1963 from Dumont High School in Dumont, NJ and had a bachelor's degree in business. He was a manager for Bari Italian Food, Inc and a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Oakwood, GA. He was a great cook of Italian food, a lover of life, friends and family and will be greatly missed! Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Christ Lutheran Church, 3612 Old Oakwood Road, Oakwood, GA 30566, (770) 535-9938, with Pastor Andy Seibert officiating. No visitation is scheduled. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 3612 Old Oakwood Road, Oakwood, GA 30566, in memory of Michael Scordino.
