Beth Pirkle Samples, age 57, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father Dan Pirkle, and sister Ginger Pirkle. She is survived by her mother Pat Taylor Pirkle, Buford, GA; husband Wayne Samples; daughters Hollie Elizabeth Landers Bryson and Ryan Handschuh, Woodstock, GA, and Heather Patricia Landers and Shane Winters, Gainesville, GA; grandchildren Dylan Bryson, Jacob Dorsey, Halie Bryson and Deanna Landers; sister Deborah Pirkle and husband Robert Clark, Duluth, GA; brother Jeff and Toni Pirkle, Winder, GA; aunts Varnell Rucker, Alpharetta, GA, and Virginia Keller, Jasper, GA; great aunts Montie Brogdon Thompson, Buford, GA, Judy Kelley Pirkle, Buford, GA, and Lula Mae Pirkle, Buford, GA. Beth was born August 30, 1956, in Buford, GA. She was a 1974 graduate of Buford High School. She was retired, having worked at Chestnut Ridge Nursing Home in Cumming, GA for twenty years. She was a member of Buford First United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Sondra Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. There will be a private interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Buford, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buford First United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 329, Buford, GA 30515, in memory of Beth Pirkle Samples.
