Dean Jones Hayes

Mrs. Dean Jones Hayes, age 82, of Buford, GA, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-six years, Johnnie Hayes.

She is survived by her children Donna Hayes Ashworth, Buford, GA, and Gary and Lisa Hayes, Buford, GA; grandchildren Angela and Brian Ray, Dacula, GA, Amy Ashworth-Wojick and husband Nick, Acworth, GA, Amanda and Stephen Weed, Gainesville, GA, Dustin Hayes, Buford, GA, and Jarret Hayes, Buford, GA; twelve great grandchildren; sister-in-law Mildred Harrison Hayes, Sugar Hill, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hayes was born December 9, 1931 in Buford, GA. She was a homemaker and member of Liberty Baptist Church in Sugar Hill. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Dispain officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
