Michael Alan Tone

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr.Michael Alan Tone, age 57, of Cleveland. Michael passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014. No public services are planned.

Michael was born on February 21, 1957 to the late Wayne Tone and Marilyn Yeager Tone. He graduated from Fairfield High School in Fairfield, Iowa and attended Duke University. Michael lived in Warner Robins , Georgia for several years where he was employed at Macon Coliseum. He moved to White County in 1999 where he was employed by Fruedenburg NOK as a Lab Technician.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Abernathy Tone of Cleveland son Michael "Mikey" Tone Jr, daughter, Leah Smith and Grandson Dylan Howell all of Warner Robins; brother and sister in law,Phil and Diane Tone of Mt. Pleasant, IA; nieces, Jessica and Jasmine Tone and nephew Ryan Tone all of Mt. Pleasant, IA.; aunt and uncle, Sandy and the late Jack Rogers as well as cousins, Scott and Linda Rogers and family, Mark and Emily Rogers and family all of Iowa , Matt and Kimmy Rogers and family of Indiana and Todd and Theresa Rogers and family of North Carolina; aunts, Avis, Eleanor and Martha Tone of Grinnell, IA.; mother in law and father in law, Jean Allen and Jack Abernathy, both of Cleveland ; sisters and brothers in law, Linda Stone of Asheville, NC, Kevin Barnes of Pensacola, FL., Debbie and Chuck Pruitt of Cleveland, Ann Abernathy of Cleveland and Darlene Ball of Montana; nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Joanna and Angie Robinson, Jessi Stone, Matt Welborn, Leilah Stone,Kyle, Anna Beth and Cherith Pruitt as well as Caleb Threlkeld and Makeys Rain. Michael is also survived by his special "children" Chiyo, Satchmo and Cindy Lou.
