Howell Eugene Pressley

Howell Eugene Pressley, 63, of Gainesville passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with internment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Ricky Rider will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday July 20, 2014 from 5-9 pm and on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 5-9 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Pressley was born on August 21, 1950 in Palmetto, Georgia to the late Howell Albert Grady Pressley and Marthie Hix Pressley. He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Pressley; sister, Barbara Nash.

Mr. Pressley is survived by his wife; Betty Pressley of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Nathan Perry of Gainesville; sisters, Linda Shelton of Madison, Sybil Simpson of Gainesville, Virginia Simpson of Commerce, Jo Gibbs of Pendergrass, Becky McDaniel of Madison, Jackie McDaniel of Madison, Sue Wilson of Buckhead, Rosie McDaniel of Madison; brothers, Melvin Pressley of Eatonton, and Glenn Pressley.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
