Willie Anglin

Willie Anglin, age 87 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.


Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, July 21, 2014 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Belmont Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Bill Compton will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 2 - 4 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mr. Anglin was born August 7, 1926 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Luther Anglin and Mary Anglin. He was retired from Vintage Homes and was a member of Belmont Baptist Church. Willie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Eritha Cochran Anglin, his brothers, Henry Anglin, Ed Anglin, J. C. Anglin, James Anglin and Arthur Anglin and three of his sisters, Ruby Stephens, Martha Woodring and Katie Anglin.

Mr. Anglin is survived by his son, Billy Anglin of Gainesville, his sisters, Mary Moore and Joyce Etris, both of Gainesville, 3 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
